Wooden Spars
I have been involved in over 50 mast builds, over half as the lead builder. Mostly sitka spruce, 8-stave, and birdsmouth, from 8' to 65'.
Brightwork
Varnish work, refinishing or finishing for the first time. I can help spruce up your classic boat, to make your modern boat pop. Experience with traditional varnish, cetol, and awl-wood
Running Rigging
Custom splicing of 3-strand, double braid, and modern single braids. Replacement of running rigging on cruisers and racers. I work from the deck only.
Instruction
Have you started your own project and just need some advice? I can help you move forward and share my knowledge. I also run Thursday volunteer days at the Gig Harbor Boat Shop.
